President Biden referred to January 6 as an “armed rebellion,” which raised questions about the Justice Department’s allegations
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tried to explain why President Joe Biden referred to the Capitol riots as a “rebellion.” No one, including former President Donald Trump, has been charged.
Biden calls January 6 “Armed Uprising” In his speech on Thursday morning. He apparently also accused Trump of having “assembly” His supporter “attack” By continuing to promote the theory that the 2020 presidential election is fraudulent.
When asked if Biden recommends charging the approximately 700 thugs in custody awaiting trial – none of them have been charged “Armed Uprising” – Psaki seems to be downplaying Biden’s remarks.
Biden just wants “The Ministry of Justice and the Minister of Justice act independently,” Psaki said. “He didn’t make judgments or instructions on what the Department of Justice should do or how they should behave or act, and I don’t think the Department of Justice or the Attorney General has seen him do this either,” She added.
PSAKI Reporter: Biden called January 6 an “armed rebellion”…No one was charged for the rebellion. This is a specific crime. Does the President want the Department of Justice to bring rebellion charges against Trump or anyone else? ” pic.twitter.com/XJiwgM9Hv0

The riots on January 6 were called a rebellion by many media and politicians, but some people questioned whether the term is really appropriate. Of all the accusations faced by the mob, the rebellion—defined as a violent uprising against the government—is not one of the accusations.
On the first anniversary of the Capitol riots, if the Department of Justice did not formally accuse individuals of the specific crime, many media experts found out whether they could call the riots a rebellion.
Therefore, Fox said the number of “rebellions” was the same as the number of indictments issued by the Department of Justice for the crime. Calling 1/6 a “rebellion” is not the pride of the media when the Democratic-led Justice Department fails to charge *or even one person for the crime*. https://t.co/GI3G84lmHW

In his speech on Thursday, Biden did not specifically mention Trump by name, but he made it clear that he blamed the former president for the Capitol incident.
When asked why Biden did not name Trump specifically, Psaki directly blamed Trump on the incident on January 6 and called it “uprising.”
“There is only one president in the history of this country who incited rebellion and pushed for the seizure of our Capitol,” she says.
