  • United nations news

Farzeen Alam, a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, was ridiculed when seeking loans from banks to start his agricultural business: Today, Oggro Dairy is helping to reduce unemployment, especially among marginalized youth.

Oggro Dairy is the first social enterprise dedicated to agriculture in Bangladesh. The company was founded by Mr. Alam in 2007 and cooperates with farmers across the country to produce milk, potatoes, corn, orchids and other agricultural products.
