PT Aerofood Indonesia (Aerofood ACS) president and CEO Bambang Sujatmiko was recently appointed as the new chairman of non-profit organization Asia Pacific Onboard Travel (APOT Asia).
Aerofood ACS is the business unit of national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia’s arm PT Aero Wisata.
Bambang was chosen to replace Sri Lankan Airlines president and CEO Rakitha Jayawardena.

During his inauguration, Bambang shared his commitment to promoting tourist destinations in Asia and Indonesian tourism.
“We will try our best and realize the organization’s vision and mission, improve APOT Asia and, together with other members, strengthen the spirit of togetherness to promote Indonesian tourism as well as other Asia Pacific destinations through APOT Asia,” said Bambang.
APOT Asia was founded in 2010. The organization currently has 700 members who hail from airline in-flight service management, in-flight product suppliers, caterers, travel and sales management, media and network partners and catering product suppliers. (kes)
